This Privacy Policy explains how KGM Studios handles information when you use CueVity, the CueVity website, CueVity Account, licensing services, and related support services.

CueVity is desktop show-control software. Permanent Professional runtime is designed to continue operating after successful activation without requiring continuous account sign-in or a continuous internet connection.

2. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create or use a CueVity Account, we may process your email address, email verification status, authentication provider, and an internal customer identifier.

Purchase and license information

For paid products, we may process purchase records, license type, license status, supported major version, device allowance, subscription or expiry information where applicable, and information needed to associate a purchase with your CueVity customer account.

Device and activation information

When a license is activated or managed, CueVity may process a device identifier and activation information required to enforce the number of devices permitted by the license.

Support communications

If you contact KGM Studios for support, we may process the information you provide in your message and any diagnostic or technical information you voluntarily send to us.

3. How We Use Information

• Authenticate CueVity Account users.
• Verify email addresses and account ownership.
• Associate purchases and licenses with the correct customer.
• Activate, validate, deactivate, and administer licenses.
• Enforce device limits, subscription status, and version eligibility.
• Provide customer support and investigate licensing or account issues.
• Maintain the security and integrity of CueVity account and licensing services.

4. Authentication

CueVity may offer Email and Password authentication and Google Sign-In. Authentication services may be provided using Google Firebase. When you use Google Sign-In, Google processes authentication according to Google's own terms and privacy practices.

CueVity uses verified email ownership to associate supported authentication methods with the same CueVity customer ownership where appropriate, helping avoid duplicate customer records for the same verified email address.

5. Local and Secure Storage

CueVity may store authentication credentials or tokens locally using operating-system-backed secure storage. Authentication tokens are not intended to be exposed to ordinary CueVity renderer content.

Local project files, media files, and show content remain under the user's control unless the user explicitly sends information to KGM Studios or a future feature clearly states otherwise.

6. Offline Licensing

Permanent Professional licenses are designed to continue licensed runtime operation offline after successful activation. Account sign-in is not required for normal runtime use of an already activated permanent Professional license.

Subscription licenses may require periodic online validation and may have a limited offline allowance.

7. Sharing and Service Providers

KGM Studios does not sell CueVity customer personal information. Information may be processed by service providers used to operate CueVity account, authentication, hosting, licensing, email, payment, or support services. Those providers process information under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, protect users, protect KGM Studios or CueVity services, or investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues.

8. Data Retention

Account, purchase, and license records may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide ownership records, licensing, support, upgrade eligibility, security, accounting, and legal compliance. Support communications may be retained as needed to resolve and document support matters.

9. Your Choices

You may contact KGM Studios to ask questions about your CueVity account information or request appropriate account assistance. Some purchase or license records may need to be retained where necessary for ownership, fraud prevention, accounting, legal obligations, or continued license administration.

10. Security

KGM Studios uses reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect CueVity account and licensing information. No internet-connected system or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

11. Children's Privacy

CueVity is show-control software and is not directed to children. KGM Studios does not knowingly design CueVity account services for the collection of personal information from children.

12. Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as CueVity features, service providers, legal requirements, or business practices change. The effective date shown at the top of this page will be updated when a revised policy is published.
